Wearable Arts
Over the past few weeks we have been researching and planning for our wearable arts projects. Today we started making our creations, there were many good ideas and lots of teamwork.

Week 9 Term 2
This week we will be making our Wearable arts creations. Please check the post below regarding the bits and pieces that we require.
Please remember that school will be closing early on Thursday, make plans for your child. If you are unable to make plans for your own child then you need to contact the office beforehand. You can collect your child at 1:30pm.

mBot lessons for the Middle school
Bongani, Don, Jett and Paul have all contributed to planning and teaching Middle school students some programming using the mBots.
Today the first group of Middle School students had a lessons and other groups are scheduled over the next few weeks.

School photos are scheduled for Friday 22nd June and information/envelopes have been sent home with your child. Please do not leave the ordering of these photos to the last minute. Orders must be with the school office by Wednesday 20 June. Last year we had lots of parents bringing their envelopes in on the day. The organisation on the day is already hectic enough without having to contend with a large number of late orders.

Manuka Team Fundraiser
Manuka Team are selling pizza tomorrow Monday 18th June (bought from Domino's) to raise transport costs to visit Hamilton Zoo.
The choices are cheese, Hawaiian and Pepperoni. The cost is $2 a slice.
All orders are to be made through your classroom.

What's a flinker?
