This week many students have shared their experiences over the holidays.  Nathan also shared a piece of writing he is proud of and Anika shared her diary from a recent trip. 

Rocket Maths

So we wanted to measure how high our rockets would soar. We figured that if we knew how high one metre was on this pole then we could figure out it's entire height.

We used this photo to measure in mm then worked out the scale. It worked out that the pole is approximately 5.5m tall.
