Bikewise
Today Hugh and Cabin helped us learn a bit of bike safety for riding on the roads. We practiced using hand signals to navigate around a roundabout. To be honest there was a bit of carnage but there was lots of learning. Just for fun parents, check your child knows their left from right ;-)

Learning about our shared paths and visiting our library
Yesterday we had a visit from a puppet show to help inform us about the new shared paths around our city. We learned that it is best to walk, scooter, bike on the left and to be courteous to others.
We talked with Miss Hall in our library about our non-fiction area of the library. She is looking to make it easier to find the books so she asked us how we would like it organised.

Week 7 term 3
Malo e lelei,
This week is Tongan langauge week. A time to celebrate and learn the language of our Pasifika family.
Last week most of the students in R4 presented their speeches to our class. Everyone did really well and the content was very good.
