Week 6 Term 1

Keep an eye on our blog, the school Facebook page, Twitter feed  and the school app on Tuesday morning to check on the status of the swimming sports. Pray for a fine day.

We will be sorting Camp groups this week, all students will be able to choose at least one friend to have in their groups.  Check out the link above to access the camp information.

Sausage sizzle
Wheels for Goldentime - We couldn't use our wheels last week for Goldentime as there just too many
bikes and scooters at school. This week R4 students can bring any type of wheels and we'll have
some fun.

This Tuesday (13 March) our Swimming Sports will be held at the Rotorua Aquatic Centre on
Tarewa Road in Rotorua.

Here is some information:
  • The swimming sports is for our middle and senior school students - Years 3, 4, 5 & 6.
  • The swimming sports will be held at the Rotorua Aquatic Centre on Tarewa Road in Rotorua.
  • Years 3 – 6 students need to be dropped off at the Aquatic Centre on the day to meet their teacher
  • by 8:45am.
  • Swimming sports will finish at approximately 2:30pm. Children need to be collected from the
  • Aquatic Centre by 3:00pm at the latest.
  • Children may come to swimming sports in their house colours. They may wear their swimming
  • togs under their clothes.
  • Children will need – togs & towels, sunhat, sunblock, warm clothes, lunch & a drink.There will
  • be NO sausage sizzle at the swimming sports this year. Children need to bring their lunch and a
  • drink.
  • Should the event need to be cancelled, this information will be put on our website by 7:30am on
  • the day, and a notification sent via Facebook, Twitter and the school phone app.

Harrison Roberts-Brake is lucky enough to have the role of Michael in Mary Poppins the Musical :)
Kids are not allowed to perform every night in big productions like these, so if anyone from the school is
planning on buying tickets to see the show then please note Harrison will be performing on the following
nights:
Sunday 11th March 7.30pm
Wednesday 14th March 7.30pm
Saturday 17th March 2pm
Sunday 18th March 2pm
Friday 23rd March 7.30pm
Saturday 24th March 7.30pm
